The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust focuses on early pregnancy loss through an ectopic pregnancy. We are the leading charity focusing on ectopic pregnancy in providing extensive general information and peer support for anyone experiencing the condition.
Who is this aimed at?
Information and support for women, couples and families who have been affected by an ectopic pregnancy. We are unable to provide personal medical advice and offer peer support. Ectopic pregnancy is a common, life-threatening condition that affects 1 in 80 pregnancies. Put very simply, it means “an out-of-place pregnancy” and occurs when a woman’s ovum (egg), which has been fertilised, implants (gets stuck somewhere) instead of moving into the womb to develop there.
Opening Hours
EPT are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Cost
This support is free, there is no charge.
How to get involved
Discussion Forums
The forums give you private space to read other people’s posts and know that you are among others who have been through a similar experience. It reassures people that responses and feelings they are experiencing are expected and understandable. Knowing the feelings are normal and that you aren’t alone can relieve all kinds of additional pressure or guilt and can help to make things feel a little easier to cope with.
