Carrying Connects aims to help families on the Wirral to connect by using slings and carriers to carry newborns, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. I am a trained Babywearing Consultant with a wide knowledge of the different types of slings, carriers and wraps available - a choice which is often bewildering for parents to be and those with a new baby. Parents can choose to access information and advice before or after the baby arrives. I run monthly Newborn Slings and Carriers Workshops, aimed at expectant and new parents. I cover the benefits of slings, how to carry them safely and comfortably, and the different types of slings available.
This is an informal session, and a great opportunity to meet other families. I am also able to visit families in their own homes for one-to-one consultations, tailored specifically to their needs. In addition, I retail a selection of slings and carriers from reputable brands.
